Technology in Education

Introduction

Being a 3/4 multiage teacher has many advantages.   The ability to work with a variety of age groups and two curriculums can prove to be challenging.   However, with the use of technology, my lessons and presentations are able to accommodate all learners.   Their motivation levels have been filled with excitement, they are able to relate to one another, and most of all we are a community of digital learners.  

Digital Community

Computer access has been a wonderful advantage in our school district.   We have a ratio of 2:1 or 1:1 iBook usage.   The students are provided with the latest software applications that enable them to digitally explore and create.   They are continually involve and are receiving information in a way that was never thought possible.   Their learning environment is filled with resources and will prepare them for a technologically advanced future.
